ARTS WEEK ~ ONE

Hello!

Welcome to our first day of Summer Arts Camp.

The tents were staked with lanterns and banners hanging under the canopy; tables draped with canvas tarps; places set with markers, doodle pads, and journals.

And then...the thundershowers welcomed us!

So we moved indoors...

...and the Camper Kids were great sports while they created wonderful works during DOODLE DAY in spite of it all.

And...we were cool and dry!

"You can't have a rainbow without the rain."

Tuesday we had fun undercover at our new camp site in our "make shift tent" {the garage}, and had fun with the water anyway during OCEAN DAY!

Crazy jellyfish and salt watercolor paintings and sponge toss balls kept us cool.  {You will see these creatures at the end of the camp week.}

Today, Wednesday right smack in the middle of the week, was CIRCLE DAY.

Lots of painting, collage, and doodling continued with charming circle creations from each and every one of the Camper Kids.

A fabulous first three days of Summer Arts Camp and two more to go!  Tomorrow is UP~CYCLED ART DAY...can't give away the secrets, but it's going to be lots of fun!  {If you want a clue, you can check out this past post peek.}

Parents and siblings and Grandparents, please join us on Friday, June 14th for our Celebration of Our Arts and Gallery Show under the tent {or in the garage if it is raining} at NOON.

See you then!
