ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

Classes will be taught by Suzanne MacCrone Rogers who has a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Fine Arts degree in interior design from the University of Georgia.


 Suzanne taught art and design classes earlier in her career and also during graduate school.  While at UGA in graduate school, she taught furniture design, architectural drafting, and color theory.

Her work has been published in over 40 magazines and books throughout the USA and Italy.  She had a successful art, photography, and design business selling and licensing her work for more than twenty years before relocating to Macon from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Currently, Suzanne practices architectural and interior design in Macon and throughout the Southeast.  Her fine art photography is sold throughout the United States and licensed by Getty Images globally.

Matthew Rogers, Suzanne’s inspiration and muse, will be assisting with all the classes.  Matthew is twelve years old has been painting and doodling since he was three years old.  His work has been shown in a few small venues {galleries} in Middle Georgia and his art prints from his original paintings have been sold around the country and are available for sale in our online shops Etsy ad Zazzle.  Each and every project planned for Summer Arts Camp has been kid tested and approved by Matthew. 


 Suzanne’s husband and Matthew’s dad, Reg Rogers a native of Macon and a middle school teacher and golf coach at Mount De Sales Academy in Macon, will be also assisting with Summer Arts Camp.  Both Suzanne and Reg are Virtus and CPR trained.
